Join me for a class making and accordion hinge photo album with an elasticated closure. This binding is perfect for beginners, it’s a simple fold and slot method. We’ll create a hard cover using a Swiss binding which allows the book to lay flat.

Bookbinding Bites: Slipcases

Bring your own book and learn how to create your own slipcase using materials from the shop. Please make sure your book is A5 or smaller and I’ll teach you how to build a box to the exact measurements, and cover it using book cloth or paper.

Bookbinding Bites: Pencil Boxes

Learn how to make your own pencil box in this hands on workshop. I’ll show you how to construct your own pencil box using paper and cloth from the shop. It has a hinged lid which fastens shut and can hold up to 15 pencils. Great as a gift or to keep for yourself!

Sunday Club: Clamshell Boxes

Join me to create your own clamshell box. I’ll show you how to construct, and cover an interlocking box, perfect for holding prints or valuables inside. We will use a range of paper and book cloth from the shop to make your own box. If you want to bring your own paper to use, just get in contact and I can chat through the types of paper that work best.
